Contador looked unstoppable today. Nobody can match his acceleration and speed on the climbs. So based purely on climbing ability, the Tour is Contador’s to lose. And add the fact that his time trial ability has improved immensely, he’s going to be tough to beat.
But you just never know about Lance……..he may very well have something up his sleeve. I don’t know what it might be, but he’s the master of deception. What do you think?
A couple other important bits of information:
1. A reminder that I’m hosting the “Training with Power” seminar tomorrow evening (Mon, July 20) at Penn cycle in Minnetonka. Take a look and register at:
2. Secondly, I’ll be announcing the details of a couple exciting programs in the very near future. One will be a “Boot Camp” training program. This will benefit athletes of all abilties, and will be opened on a first-come, first-served basis for cyclists, runners and general fitness clients. Stay tuned!
The other program will be a structured training program for cyclists, mainly for the off-season. I’ll be hosting an in-person program, and will make this available to non-local athletes as well. I’ll keep you updated as the details unfold.
3. I understand that I’m having some technical issues with my email address attached to this blog. I apologize about any inconvenience. This issue will be resolved shortly. In the meantime, you can add questions to the “comments” section below, or you can email me at:
