Lance continues to be a lightning rod for the sport of cycling. He has often said that he’s been tested for illegal substances more than anyone on the face of the planet, and he has never tested postive. He continues to deny all allegations and state that he is and always has been a clean athlete.
Now another story pops up about French officials “harrassing” him. Here’s the story from Lance’s Livestrong.com website:

I don’t really know enough about doping and performance enhancing substances to eloquently comment on the topic. But, from the little I do know, it seems Lance definitely gets targeted, and from all accounts I’ve read, he seems to expect it and be okay with it. I can’t imagine a professional football or basketball player coping with the amount of testing Lance is subjected to without completely freaking out. I don’t have a hard time imagining Dennis Rodman completely losing his mind on a doping official.
In unrelated news, I experienced my first tip-over today since switching to clipless pedals. Still not sure how I managed it since I was already stopped and clipped-out on one side. At least there was a right next to me so they could enjoy the show.
